3 Suspects arrested for multiple crimes in Zamdela

The Zamdela SAPS arrested three suspects for multiple crimes on Saturday, 08 October 2022. Police spokesperson, Sgt Mahlomola Kareli, stated the Zamdela SAPS spotted a vehicle that was hijacked on its way to Zamdela from Soshanguve, on Friday, 07 October 2022. According to Kareli, police members searched the car and found bank cards and a wallet, along with two hidden firearms and five live rounds, wrapped with plastic, on the left side at the passenger door. Kareli says the three suspects, aged 40, 46 and 61 years, were arrested and will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrates Court, facing charges of hijacking, possession of unlicensed firearms, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a dangerous weapon.
