Abrahamsrust Resort temporarily closed after appointment of new manager

SASOLBURG - A new management contractor has been appointed at the Abrahamsrust Resort in Vaalpark, Sasolburg. Abrahamsrust is a recreational resort situated on the banks of the Vaal River in Sasolburg. It offers facilities like a caravan park, fishing activity, chalets, swimming pool, park homes and a jetty. The resort yesterday said in a notice on its Facebook page that it will be closed temporarily to allow a smooth transition in management of the resort and its facilities. This comes after Sasol earlier this year invited all interested parties to participate in a Request For Information (RFI) process in order to operate the Abrahamsrust Resort. According to yesterday’s notice, the resort will be closed temporarily from Sunday, 30 September 2023, until further notice. More information about the reopening of the resort will be shared in due course.
