Airlines across the country are struggling to meet domestic demand

VAAL TRIANGLE - Airports Company South Africa says airlines across the country are struggling to meet domestic demand. The company believes the liquidation of airlines such as Comair, SA Express and Kulula left a significant void in the aviation sector. CEO Mpumi Mpofu says the seat capacity from those airlines had not yet been restored. She says this has also caused a spike in ticket prices. The remaining airlines are faced with the pressure of increasing demand. PHOTO: (Supplied)
