Another school in the Vaal vandalized and robbed
VAAL TRIANGLE - An investigation is currently underway after Phuthulla Primary school in Boipatong was recently vandalised and damaged. According to Vaal Journal, police spokesperson, Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela said that the increase in break-ins in the schools is very alarming in the area as two primary schools were also broken into on the same day. Maxambela said the suspects ransacked the principal’s office and stole a DVD player. According to Maxambela they used an electric grinder to open a safe and stole R1 500 in cash that was in the safe. They also took a wifi-router and food. The damages are estimated to be worth R32 000. Boipatong Police Station Commander says he is concerned about the increase of crime in the institutions of learning.
