ArcelorMittal SA confirms there was no explosion in Vanderbijlpark this morning

BREAKING NEWS: ArcelorMittal SA has just confirmed to the 90.6 FM News Team that there was no explosion at its Vanderbijlpark plant this morning. This after a loud noise could be heard after 08:00 this morning across various parts of Vanderbijlpark, and smoke could be seen rising in the sky from the direction of Amsa Vanderbijlpark. The organisation’s Tracey Peterson told the 90.6 FM News Team that there was no explosion, but there was a reaction in the steel making process which caused a loud noise. However, Peterson said there was no damage to property and no injuries were reported.
