Biker critically injured after accident at R57/ R59 intersection

SASOLBURG - Paramedics say a biker has been critically injured after a collision with a vehicle in Sasolburg, Vaal Triangle. According to ER24, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon at the intersection of the R59 and R57. ER24 paramedics, as well as the Sasolburg Fire Department, arrived on the scene and found the man lying on the tarmac, having suffered multiple critical injuries. He was treated using Advanced Life Support interventions before being flown by private medical helicopter to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for further care. The driver of the vehicle was in shock, but otherwise uninjured. The South African Police Services were also on scene for further investigations. PHOTO: (ER24)
