Claims of bribery to receive R350 grant at Sebokeng Post Office
SEBOKENG - Vaal Journal reports that people who collect their R350 Social Relief of Distress Grants at Sebokeng Zone 11 Post office says they are forced to pay a bribe of R50 to get their grant. According to Vaal Journal, grant beneficiaries say queue Marshalls demand a R50 bribe in order to receive their grants or face being unattended and going home empty handed. Vaal Journal reports that the Zone 11 Post Office Manger couldn't be reached for a comment. Resident are encouraged to report a postal crime, or crime apparently committed by a Post Office employee by contacting the Post Office toll-free crime buster hotline on 0800 020 070.
