Competition Commission warns of fake price list circulating

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Competition Commission is warning the public about a fake price list circulating that purports to be price guidelines for hygiene and health care products issued by the commission. It says that it has not issued any price guidelines. The commission says it is, however, investigating unreasonable price increases on essential items. It adds that it is also aware of criminal elements purporting to be its investigators who are interacting with businesses with the intention of soliciting bribes.
