Contactless deliveries are the safest with parcels

VAAL TRIANGLE - Consumers should insist on receiving parcels without physical contact with a delivery person since the danger of contracting COVID-19 through human contact is greater than the presence of the virus on the packaging. This is according to Paper Manufacturers Association spokesperson, Sam Choles. She explains findings from a reliable research study on how long the coronavirus survives on surfaces, showing that the virus is not present on plastic or cardboard after 24 hours. She advises consumers to maintain guidelines for social distancing when receiving parcels.
