DA issues petition against Emfuleni due to power shortages for three years in some areas

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Democratic Alliance in Gauteng has issued a petition against the ANC-led Emfuleni Municipality. The DA says they created the petition because some Emfuleni residents have been without electricity for up to three years because of a faulty Eskom transformer. The party says residents in Emfuleni Local Municipality has had enough of lip service. It said a working government is needed in Emfuleni that is committed to bring services to the people. Therefore, the DA urged residents in Emfuleni and surrounds to co-sign the petition to help Emfuleni get its power back.
