DWS concerned about Vaal Dam levels

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) said the decline in the levels of the Vaal Dam shows a gloomy picture this week. The DWS says their weekly reservoir shows that the dam levels are currently standing on 41,6% which is one percent less than last week. The Department says despite the low levels in the Vaal Dam, the Integrated Vaal River System remains relatively stable at 62,9%. Department spokesperson, Hosia Sithole, says they hope the summer-rain will reverse the severe impact on the decreasing water levels.
