Emfuleni dismisses allegations of racial profiling in the payment of creditors

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Emfuleni Local Municipality issued a statement yesterday stating that they have noted with concern the false and misleading allegations of racial profiling in the payment of creditors. They stated that they deny all social media posts insinuating that the Lead Administrator, Gilberto Martins, has prioritized one race above another. According to the statement, the municipality applies a detailed and legislated supply chain management process, which does not include racial profiling. The municipality says the Lead Administrator is working extensively with the municipal manager to ensure all creditors are paid.
