Emfuleni dispatches water tanks to help with Vanderbijlpark water supply interruption

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Emfuleni Local Municipality says a few areas of Vanderbijlpark are still experiencing low pressure due to ongoing repairs at the Vanderbijlpark Reservoir. ELM said in a notice that for consumers supplied from the reservoirs, water supply interruptions remain in place. The municipality says it has noted the low water pressure and as a result, four water tankers have been dispatched at Dante Street, Stephenson Spar, Pioneer House (Old Age Home), and at the corner of Bessemer and Langenhoven Streets. ELM apologised for the inconvenience caused and further encouraged residents to use water sparingly. Meanwhile, Midvaal Municipality issued a notice stating that there is a water supply interruption in Rissiville, Ward 2, today.
