Emfuleni municipality concerned about large numbers of mourners at cemeteries

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) says they are concerned that the large numbers of mourners arriving at cemeteries will aid the spread of Covid-19. The municipality says President Cyril Ramaphosa moved the country to Covid-19 Alert Level 3 following the rapid increase in the number of positive cases and under Alert Level 3 funerals are restricted to no more than 50 people. The municipality urges the community to adhere to the regulations set out by the president in order to stop the spread of the virus and ensure the community stays safe.
