Emfuleni offices closed this morning due to non-payment of rent

VAAL TRIANGLE - Offices of the Emfuleni Local Municipality’s revenue department were closed this morning with only a notice of non-payment pasted on the door as reason. Posted on ERPA’s Facebook page by a member, the notice read that the Emfuleni offices will be locked and inaccessible from Tuesday, 21 June 2022 until further notice. It stated that this is due to non-payment of rentals – by order of the landlord. However, another member has since posted another image with an update at around 11:35 this morning, saying that the offices are open again.
