Eskom implements loadshedding from 16:00 this afternoon

VAAL TRIANGLE - Eskom has announced that Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 to 22:00 tonight. Thereafter Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented daily from 05:00 in the morning to 22:00 at night until Saturday. The power utility says that loadshedding has been caused by a shortage of generation capacity owing to breakdowns and delays in returning some generating units to service. Eskom spokesperson, Sikonathi Mantshantsha, says Eskom will promptly communicate should there be any further changes.
