Eskom says additional breakdowns could result in an increase in load-shedding stages at short notice. Stage 5 load-shedding was implemented from 16:00 yesterday afternoon until 05:00 this morning when stage 4 kicked in until 16:00 this afternoon. This pattern will be repeated until further notice. Eskom spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, says over the past 24-hours, a generating unit each at Arnot, Tutuka, and two units at Duvha power station were taken offline for repairs.
