Fatal pedestrian vehicle collision on the R59.

MIDVAAL - Cert-SA says their Vaal Crew responded to a call of a pedestrian vehicle collision on the R59 at the Randvaal offramp, at 05:30 yesterday morning. Upon arrival, paramedics found an unresponsive patient next to the road. According to Cert-SA the patient had sadly succumbed to their injuries and was declared dead on the scene. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear at this time and the police have launched an investigation. Cert-SA thanked the Meyerton Midvaal fire and rescue, Midvaal traffic and Kliprivier SAPS for their assistance on the scene.
