VAAL TRIANGLE - Certain customers who have already received a three-month payment holiday at FNB may now be eligible for another three months of relief. Almost 300,000 FNB customers have been allowed to suspend part or all of their repayments to the bank since April 1 due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The bank has entered into an additional credit agreement worth approximately R5 billion. FNB will now offer some of those customers, whom it will identify in advance, the option to extend their payment holiday by another three months. The bank said in a statement, the offer only applies to customers in "certain sectors of the economy that could show a material impact due to the Covid-19 pandemic."
