FNB warns customers to be on high alert ahead of black Friday

VAAL TRIANGLE - FNB has warned South Africans to be careful when uploading their banking services’ login details to a third party’s website during online purchases. The warning comes as Black Friday approaches. Online stores currently use third-party service providers, and while the providers’ website is secure, it exposes customers to potential financial fraud. The head of electronic transfers at FNB, Ravi Shunmugam, says consumers are therefore urged to be extra careful during online payments.
