Four people killed in head-on collision in Vaalpark

VAALPARK - Four people were killed after a head-on collision with a trailer that had allegedly become detached from another vehicle on the R59 in Vaalpark on Friday afternoon. According to ER24, paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 16:00 and found a vehicle lying on its side off the roadway, as well as a trailer off the road. Upon further assessment, paramedics found four people inside the vehicle who were showing no signs of life. They were declared dead on the scene by medical personnel. The driver from the vehicle towing the trailer sustained no injuries. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to the paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
