Four suspects arrested after armed robbery in Heidelberg Central.

Members of AfriForum Heidelberg, Silver Security Group, Lesedi Traffic, Heidelberg SAPS as well as other relevant law-enforcement authorities, successfully secured the arrest of four suspects in Heidelberg, yesterday. The four suspects, presumably armed, were involved in a robbery in Ueckermann Street early yesterday morning. The suspects attempted to flee in a blue Volkswagen Citi Golf on the N3, in the direction of Johannesburg when they were pursued and app-prehended. Lesedi Traffic's Superintendent, Mr Thulani Mahlangu, told Heidelberg Times that he is immensely proud of his team who assisted in the pursuit with their brand new vehicles. No firearms have been recovered on the scene, however stolen property, including laptops, cellphones and watches, were recovered from the vehicle.
