VANDERBIJLPARK - The Gauteng Department of Education said the law firm appointed to investigate the allegations of sexual misconduct at Vaal High in Vanderbijlpark is still looking into the matter. The Department appointed the law firm after allegations of sexual misconduct first surfaced on social media when students tried to sound the alarm over the issue. These claims were leveled against staff members, including the principal. The MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, already met with the management of the school. Department spokesperson, Steve Mabona, says the law firm will continue with their investigations, and that a report will be submitted in due course.
