VAAL TRIANGLE - Government believes the Ekurhuleni Water Care Company has already proven itself to be the right one for the Vaal River clean-up. The Department of Water and Sanitation spokesperson, Sputnik Ratau, believes that the company could just pull through on the project. Last year, an amount of almost 350 million Rand was allocated by the department for the clean-up. According to Ratau the use of the Ekurhuleni Water Care Company is important to the department, as the company has the capacity to take over the project where the South African National Defence Force left off. Ratau also said the department is committed to ensuring the project gets to its ultimate point.
