Hairdressers still not allowed to return to work

BREAKING: Hopeful hairdressers have been left in the dark by the justice system, as the courts dismissed an application by the hairdressing industry to be allowed to operate under lockdown regulations. EWN reports Advocate Carlo Viljoen approached the Western Cape High Court on behalf of the industry. Arguments were delivered on Wednesday and the judgment was handed down earlier on Thursday. This comes after ministers announced again this afternoon that personal care services such as hairdressers, beauty services and tattoo parlours will remain closed under level 3 of the national lockdown.
