Loadshedding implemented for a third consecutive night

VAAL TRIANGLE - Another night of darkness are expected for South Africans as loadshedding will be implemented for the third consecutive night tonight. Eskom announced that a shortage of generation capacity during the evening peak will require the implementation of Stage 2 loadshedding again from 17:00 until 22:00 tonight. The power utility says two generation units at Hendrina Power Station and one at Matimba Power Station were taken offline for repairs this morning. Eskom spokesperson, Sikonathi Mantshantsha, says one generation unit at Arnot Power Station was returned to service.
