NEWS JUST IN: Vaal Triangle and other South African residents will from midnight tonight be allowed to have 10 people at their homes for visits. Government has gazetted the new rules that will apply when Lockdown Level 2 comes into effect at midnight tonight. These include the lifting of the ban on cigarette and liquor sales. There is no restriction on the sale of tobacco products. Interprovincial travel is now allowed, while guesthouses, bed and breakfast establishments, and hotels may accept guests for leisure purposes. International travel is still prohibited. The wearing of masks is still mandatory, while a curfew will still be enforced from 22:00 at night until 04:00 in the morning. Up to 10 people may visit each other at home, and up to 50 people may attend weddings, funerals, religious services, concerts, and theaters. Gyms may also reopen.
