Motion of no confidence against the Executive Mayor of Metsimaholo municipality fails

SASOLBURG - Cllr Jack Malindi is still the Executive Mayor of Metsimaholo municipality. This follows the submission of a motion of no confidence against the Executive Mayor by the DA during a special council meeting yesterday, 05 February 2024. The Metsimaholo municipality says a total of 24 Councillors voted against the motion whereas 14 Councilors supported the motion for the removal of the Executive Mayor.
