One person injured after vehicle overturns on the R42 towards Meyerton

MEYERTON - Paramedics say a single light motor vehicle was involved in an accident on the R42 road towards Meyerton over the weekend. Heidelberg Volunteer Medics and First Responders say the accident occurred just before midnight on Saturday evening on the R42 (Vereeniging Road). Heidelberg Volunteer Medics and First Responders, AfriForum Heidelberg, GPG Medical Services, Heidelberg SAPS, Lesedi Fire and Rescue and Lesedi Traffic all assisted at the scene. Upon arrival it was found that one light motor vehicle lost control and overturned numerous times. The first responders say one patient was transported by GPG to a local hospital for further care.
