President Cyril Rramaphosa pushes South Africa back to Lockdown Level 03

VAAL TRIANGLE: South Africa went into Lockdown Level 3 from midnight last night. President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the restrictions will remain in place until 15 January 2021. Under adjusted Lockdown Level 3, all indoor and outdoor gatherings are immediately prohibited. Less than 50 people can attend funerals. The curfew is extended from 21:00 until 06:00. All beaches have immediately been closed and the sale of alcohol is not to be permitted. Ramaphosa adds that no one may be in public without a mask. Anyone caught without a mask could be fined or imprisoned.
