Rehabilitation program mills and reseals over 4-kilometers of Emfuleni roads

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Emfuleni Local Municipality says a multi-million rand road rehabilitation program is underway in parts of Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging. As part of its road maintenance plan, Emfuleni is spending over R16-million to upgrade parts of its road network. This includes milling, resealing and pothole patching of over four kilometres. Four contractors: Actophambili Roads, Mobofa Trading, Magic Engineers and Mthembu Mvelase have been appointed for the road-works, which have already commenced on some of the sites. Roads that are part of the rehabilitation program include Eric Louw Street, DF Malan Street, Frikkie Meyer Street and Livingstone Street in Vanderbijlpark. In Vereeniging, work will be done on roads like Houtkop Road, Union Street and Leslie Street, amongst others.
