Road users urged to be careful during Easter weekend

VAAL TRIANGLE - Thousands of motorists will hit the road this Easter weekend. The authorities warn that high traffic volumes on most national roads make this a deadly time and that drinking is a major contributor to road crashes. Motorists are warned that there will be traffic on the N3 toll concession over the Easter weekend. Peak hours are expected from today at 15:00, southwards, and Monday in a northerly direction from 09:00 to 18:00. Under level 1 lockdown regulations the sale of alcohol for off-site consumption will not be allowed from tomorrow until Monday, but restaurants, shebeens and bars will continue to sell it.
