School governing bodies are calling for a ban on the Prime energy drink
VAAL TRIANGLE - The National Association of School Governing Bodies has called for a ban on the hydration drink, Prime in all schools due to concerns over its impact on children’s behavior. The popular energy drink has recently been selling out at Checkers stores across South Africa. The association has urged parents to ensure learners don’t bring the drink to school, citing uncertainty about its ingredients. Spokesperson Matakanye Matakanya believes it is not workable in terms of schooling, so it has to be banned.
