Six suspects arrested and hijacked vehicle recovered in Vanderbijlpark

VANDERBIJLPARK - Arrive Alive says six hijacking suspects were arrested for a hijacking that occurred on the N1 travelling to Vanderbijlpark, Vaal Triangle. The organisation said in a statement on Wednesday, 17 May, that their Community Operations Manager received information on a group regarding a hijacked vehicle before Kroonvaal Plaza that was on its way to Vanderbijlpark on the N1. According to Arrive Alive, the SAPS Flying Squad, Gauteng Traffic and other security partners responded to the scene where six suspects were successfully apprehended. The organisation said the hijacked vehicle as well as two firearms were also recovered on the scene. They commended Fidelity ADT and all role-players involved, saying together, we are stronger.
