South Africa needs to up its game in school leadership.
VAAL TRIANGLE - The National Professional Teachers’ Organisation of South Africa has raised concern about a leadership crisis in schools, which is leading to various challenges for teachers. According to Naptosa’s director, Basil Manuel, teachers are facing challenges such as vandalism in schools, which is leading to learners not having enough material to learn with. Furthermore, there is a lack of proper sanitation in schools, and ill-discipline among learners. Manuel calls on government to step up and bring solutions to these challenges.
