Suspect in Vanderbijlpark court for allegedly stealing liquor

VANDERBIJLPARK - A 25-year-old suspect was expected to appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate court today for breaking into a liquor store in Bophelong over the Easter long weekend. The Vanderbijlpark Police Task Team received information about a business robbery that took place at the Lefelong Liquor Store and they followed a tip which led them to the arrest of the suspect at Joko Tea squatter camp. Police spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said some of the stolen liquor and computers were retrieved from the suspect’s shack. Station Commander Brigadieŕ Nikiwe Hoaeane, applauded the task team for the great job conducted.
