VAAL TRIANGLE - The Post Office has announced that vehicle licensing services are once again available at its branches. Motorists are advised to avoid using the service between the fourth and the seventh of each month, as branches are then focusing on SASSA payments. Most branches that do renewals offer a bulk renewal service for fleet owners. Motorists who did not receive a renewal notice can download the form from the Post Office website.
Meanwhile, the Gauteng provincial government says it is ready to resume with the phased reopening of drivers’ license testing centres across the province. Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure MEC, Jacob Mamabolo, says he is satisfied with the safety measures that have been put in place. His spokesperson Theo Nkonki has warned motorists will have to make an online appointment as no walk-ins will be allowed, and people must adhere to strict safety measures.
