Two theft suspects arrested in Riversdale after community tip-off

MEYERTON - The Beast Security says two suspects were arrested in Riversdale, Meyerton, for theft over the weekend. The organisation says it responded to a call on 16 June 2024 by the Riversdale Community Forum for assistance with information they received from a complainant regarding a theft at his premises the previous evening. Together with Meyerton SAPS and the Riversdale Community Forum they followed up on the information. Various power tools belonging to the complainant were recovered and two suspects were arrested. The Beast Security said they want to remind the public to always report and open cases at Meyerton SAPS if they have been a victim of crime.
