Vanderbijlpark SAPS searching for family of deceased man

VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijlpark SAPS is searching for family members of a deceased homeless African male, after his body was found in the CBD area. Police spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale, said in a statement on 2 July 2021 at about 09:30 the police were called to the scene, in Klasie Havenga Street in the CBD near the Slater Gym parking area, where the unknown male was found. She says the deceased is in his late thirties or early forties and is reportedly known as Boki. Makhale said the deceased was found with no injuries. The Vanderbijlpark SAPS is investigating an inquest case docket and is requesting anyone who may have lost their loved ones or have a missing person or who may know the deceased to please come forward or contact Warrant Officer Booyens on 074 677 8131\ 016 910-9122.
