Water supply to Vanderbijlpark reservoirs to be shut down for 16 hours over the weekend

VANDERBIJLPARK - The Emfuleni Local Municipality has warned that water supply to Vanderbijlpark reservoirs will be shut down for 16 hours over the weekend. The municipality said in a statement this is to repair faulty air valves on a pipeline supplying Vanderbijlpark. Water supply to reservoirs will thus be shut down from 14:00 on Saturday, 18 March 2023, until 06:00 am on Sunday morning, 19 March 2023. ELM advised affected consumers to collect water for basic use during the shutdown. The municipality apologised for the inconvenience and further encouraged residents to always use water sparingly.
