SASOLBURG - The Zamdela police station has been closed after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, says police officers at the station will now operate at a temporary venue. According to Makhele, the officer tested positive yesterday morning and the police station was immediately closed to allow for decontamination. Makhele says the Community Service Centre will now be operating from the Railway Station Building (Old Transnet Building) in Coal brook. The telephone lines at Zamdela police station community service centre will also no longer be available.
