VAAL TRIANGLE - The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union is calling on the security sector to put an improved wage offer on the table to avoid a national strike. The union’s Zanele Sabela says they are demanding a basic salary of eight-thousand-500-Rands, an introduction of medical aid cover and scrapping of conditions attached to the payment of the annual bonus.
