VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijlpark SAPS says six suspects were arrested for business robbery and the murder of the 42-year-old Judy Pienaar. Police spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale, yesterday said Pienaar died after she was shot in her vehicle by robbers fleeing from a business robbery in Marconi Street in Vanderbijlpark last week. Makhale said one suspect was arrested in Thokoza and the other five in Bophelong. She said they suspect that this group of criminals might be linked to several business robberies. According to Makhale, they operated in a highly organised fashion and several businesses in the Vaal area have suffered huge losses. The SAPS is also investigating the possibility that they might be linked to other business break-ins as one suspect is possibly linked with cases in KwaZulu Natal. The suspects, aged 40, 35, 30, 28, and 22, were expected to appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's court today.
