AA appeal for children to be secured while travelling

February 7, 2019

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Automobile Association says older children who have outgrown their child restraint seats must still be properly secured while travelling. Findings from the AA Child Safety Seat Survey indicated that a quarter of motorists admit to not restraining children under twelve at all while driving. The AA’s Layton Beard says studies show that children who aren’t properly restrained, have more chance of being seriously injured or killed when involved in crashes than those who are.
