MIDVAAL - The Midvaal Local Municipality has urged the community to comment on the proposed amendments of the Service Level Agreement for telephone and radio link services for the municipality. Municipal manager, A.S.A de Klerk, said in a statement the municipality plans to amend the Service Level Agreement in terms of the Municipal Finance Management Act (Act 56 of 2003) Section 116 (3) (a) (b) (i) & (ii) read with Section 21 A of the Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act No. 32 of 2000). De Klerk said Midvaal’s mayoral committee tabled and approved reasons for the proposed amendment at its ordinary meeting on Tuesday, May 28. He said the current contract expires on 30 June 2019.
