VANDERBIJLPARK - The Johan Heyns Community Health Centre has been forced to close its doors due to unsafe conditions. The facility, located in Pasteur Blvd, Vanderbijlpark, is grappling with a range of issues, including a lack of running water and electricity, making it unfit for operation. Sedibeng District Health released a media statement on the 17th of January, revealing a critical electrical fault at the facility. The malfunction has severely impacted the provision of essential health services, prompting the evacuation of staff. Employees have been reassigned to nearby health facilities, while patients are urged to seek medical care at alternative health facilities. The community is advised to stay vigilant and prioritize their health needs by accessing services at the designated alternative health facilities until further notice.
