R21 closed to traffic over the weekend for installation of new transmission power lines

VAAL TRIANGLE - Vaal Triangle motorists travelling in the vicinity of Pretoria will have to double check the routes they plan to travel, as the R21 between Olifantsfonfein Road and Nellmapius Drive in Pretoria will be closed over the weekend. This is to allow Eskom to perform essential work necessary to install new overhead transmission power lines and a conductor, which supplies electricity to the area. Motorists will be diverted via the M57 for the detour route. On Saturday the road will be closed from six in the morning until six in the evening, and on Sunday from six in the morning until noon.
