VAAL TRIANGLE - The South African Police Union has expressed concern about the rising number of police officers arrested for various crimes. According to the South African Police Service, over a dozen officers were arrested in November for offenses ranging from corruption and murder to rape. SAPU spokesperson Lesiba Thobakgale highlights the growing distrust between the police and the public. He condemns acts of criminality and emphasises the need for the police to ensure the safety of the public.
