A taxi owner from Vanderbijlpark fataly shot

VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijoark SAPS is investigating the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old taxi owner, Nhlanhla Nxuma, who was attacked at the Mcafe Bar and Restaurant in the early hours of Saturday, March 15, 2025. Three unidentified suspects fled the scene after the attack. The motive for the killing remains unclear at this stage. This incident comes amid growing concerns over violent crime in the Vaal region. Last month, a shooting at Sgureng Pub in Sebokeng left multiple casualties after a domestic dispute turned deadly. Local residents have expressed fear and frustration, calling for stronger law enforcement efforts.
