Bail applications of three accused of murder on Armandt Swart to continue on May 8 in Vereeniging

VEREENIGING - The bail application of three people arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of a man from Vereeniging, will continue on May 8 after starting in the Vereeniging Magistrate's Court yesterday, 30 April. Netwerk24 reports that 30-year-old Armand Swart was waiting in his white Ford Ranger bakkie in front of an engineering company in Duncanville on Wednesday for the electric gate to open when the occupants of a white Hyundai i20 opened fire on him. A policeman, Warrant Officer Michael Pule Tau (54), Dany Floyd Mabusela (46) and Musa Kekane (36) are charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm. Police spokesperson Noxolo Kweza says they were caught about 72 km from Vereeniging in Bramley on Wednesday after police followed up information.
